Vathi is one of the most beautiful beaches of Thassos. It is characterized by fine sand that is soft and almost white in color, so the water is light blue, and in the afternoon, it is emerald green due to the lush, rich vegetation in the hinterland. In 2020, an exclusive hotel was built here, which has its own sunbeds and umbrellas and rent at a high price. To reach Vathi beach, follow the road from Limenas to Makryammos. In front of the entrance to the hotel complex on the right is a dusty road that leads straight to this beach, about 6 km long. On this road, you will first pass Saliara beach and then Porto Vathi beach and some 1.5 km later you will reach Vathi beach. The road is wide and it has been improved enough, but you have to be very careful.
